Barangays
POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS
Lipa City is composed of 72 barangays; 12 make up the city proper or Poblacion, another 12 are emerging urban and the rest are still quite rural. One barangays is within a military reserve area, the Fernando Air Base where once the 100th Training Wing of the Philippine Air Force is located, but now it is the Air Education and Training Command (AETC).
The barangays are divided into 5 districts; the urban barangays comprise the urban district while the remaining barangays are clustered into four districts: East District, West District, North District and South District.
